We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated HR Executive to join our office in Shah Alam, Selangor.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate HR Executive to make their mark within a global company.

The HR Executive is responsible for the day-to-day human resources tasks for our office in Malaysia.


  • Perform full spectrum of Human Resource Department including Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Industrial Relations & Employment Act, Disciplinary Issues, Performance Appraisal and Training & Development.
  • Handling all matters relating to HR.
  • Monitor employees’ disciplinary issues, e.g. follow up show cause, warning and termination.
  • Conduct counselling, manage any performance and disciplinary issues when necessary.
  • Payroll processing, coordination and related procedures including time and leave management.
  • Ensure timely compliance with local statutory payments & Government reporting such as income tax, EPF, Socso & EIS.
  • To monitor employees’ leave application, medical claims and Overtime to ensure there is no abuse. Responsible for employees’ Group Personal Insurance and Hospitalization issues such as renewal and claim.
  • Maintain good filling system and human resources records for easy retrieval purpose.
  • To assist and support in planning and implementation of policies that adheres to company and group objectives.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities.

About you

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree of Human Resources Management, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent.
  • At least 2- 4 years and above of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • People oriented, good knowledge in full HR spectrum and knowledge in Employment Act 1955 is a must Well versed in local labour legislation, able to provide correct information with regards to labour rules and regulations.
  • Candidate must be independent and able to work under pressure.
  • Well versed in English mandatory in this position.
  • Experience in HRIS will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably Executives specializing in Human Resources.
